We know families have many questions and we hope that our August 25 slideshow presentations displayed below and our UPDATED Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) document help answer your questions. If not, please contact your school office or submit your question in this form.
Our District and the Board of Education on July 28 approved a 2020-2021 Re-Entry Plan that provides two options for families: 100% virtual learning or a 5-phase gradual return to 100% face-to-face learning. The first day of school will be Tuesday, September 1 and ALL students K4-12 will start with 100% virtual learning from home.
The District and Board of Education will review coronavirus data during a Work Session on Tuesday, September 8 at 5:30 p.m. to determine if starting on September 21 (Phase 2), students in Grades K4-5, 6 and 9 can return to school two days a week and learn virtually three days a week, while students in Grades 7, 8 and 10-12 continue with all virtual learning. The Re-Entry Plan further details three more phases to return more students to school and for more days, which will be dependent on the state of coronavirus in the community.
Student Schedules:
-
Students' virtual schedules will be shared starting the 27th of August for the HS and shortly after for the other buildings
-
Look for communication from your student's classroom teachers on what to expect September 1st as we return to learning
- Students with IEPs should be contacted by the District the week of Aug. 25-28 to determine family needs and how services will be provided.
