New Volunteers
The School District of Brown Deer welcomes everyone willing to share their time, enthusiasm, and skill with our students! Your efforts and the efforts of our many other volunteers, help to make our schools the exceptional places they are!
To begin volunteering in the School District of Brown Deer, please complete this interest form.
Our Parent Engagement Liaison, Ellen Schimenz, will then follow up with a link to a formal application & background check. All volunteers must have completed and passed a background check to be eligible to work with students in our buildings. This background check will be performed by JDP Associates, and you will receive notification of eligibility from the district within 24 hours.
Returning & Approved Volunteers
The School District of Brown Deer uses the Raptor Volunteer Management system for background checks as well as management of events and opportunities. Approved volunteers can find access to the BDSD Raptor Volunteer Portal below.*
