The inter-district public school open enrollment program allows parents to apply for their children to attend public school in a school district other than the one in which they reside.
The Open Enrollment application period for non-resident students for the 2025-2026 school year is from February 3, 2025 and April 30, 2025. It is recommended that parents apply online for this program. You may also apply in person at the district office by completing a paper application. You may select up to three (3) schools when applying.
For the 2025-26 school year, the Brown Deer Board of Education approved twelve (12) new regular education open enrollment seats:
6th Grade: eleven (11) available seats
8th Grade: one (1) available seat
There were no available special education seats for the 2025-2026 school year.
This decision was based on current enrollment numbers, class sizes, and projected enrollment for the 2025-26 school year.
