New Student Enrollment

If you a Brown Deer resident, there is always a seat available for your child. 

Yes, your child must be listed, along with at least one legal guardian. 

• Space is not available for the student in the nonresident school district
• If the student has been expelled during the current school year or during the two preceding school years for certain violent conduct.
• If the special education program that the student needs is not available in the school district; if there is no space in the special education program; or if the student has been referred for an evaluation but has not yet been evaluated.

If you are currently living with a district resident (non-traditional residency), you will need to have a Residency Verification Form. You can find this form on this page or you can e-mail registrar@browndeerschools.com for this form. Once you have the form you and the resident will need to fill it out, have it signed by a notary, and submit the form in person with the resident. Both the resident and the guardian will need to present and will have to submit a government-issued photo ID upon submission to the registrar.

We do our best to accommodate all families on a first come first serve basis. However, we cannot guarantee AM or PM slots.  

The School District of Brown Deer is accepting enrollment for the 2024-2025 school year starting July 1, 2024, for grades 4K-12 grade. Please see "Do you have all required items" for items that will need to be uploaded. The enrollment process is completely online.

We are accepting new student enrollment applications for the current school year for Village of Brown Deer residents.

Proof of rent can be provided depending on how your method of payment.

• If you pay by:
  • Check- canceled check provided by your bank
  • App- bank statement with loan app listed 
  • Cashier’s check- receipt/copy of recent check
  • Cash- receipt from landlord

Upon the parent/guardian's request, a Withdraw Form will be sent to the Parent/Guardian's email which must be completed online. A physical withdrawal form can be obtained upon request. Once the parent/guardian completes this form, the district office notifies the main office. Each student should schedule a conference with his/her school counselor to make certain the student can withdraw in good standing. The student turns in textbooks/equipment, pays fines, obtains withdrawal grades, and receives clearance for withdrawal in good standing.  Please note: transfer credits will only be made if the student completes the full semester.
